Training and experience
I am an accredited Counsellor who has worked in Bristol for over 7 years. I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling from the University of Bristol (having first completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling).  An integrative training course is one in which various different approaches are taught and used. Although I work from a mainly person-centred approach, I combine many different approaches into my work to suit the individual needs of a client.

The clients I have worked with have all come for their own unique reasons. Although I now work exclusive with private clients, I have worked in various placements and counselling agencies giving me a wide range of understanding and experience working with a variety of issues and concerns.

In my private practice I work with adults (18+), however, as I mentioned I have worked in a number of different counselling organisations. For 5 years I  worked in a charity providing counselling for young people. Whilst there I had different roles working including in their LGBTQ+ service. I also worked in a large further and higher education centre for 2 years as well as a 2 years at a low cost counselling agency working with people over the age of 18.
